Day 1 – Siliguri / Gangtok Arrival

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station. Ayan Tour and Travels Siliguri arranges a smooth transfer to Gangtok. Once you reach your hotel, you settle in and explore MG Marg or nearby cafés at your own pace. 

The first day is kept relaxed so you rest before the long mountain drives ahead. Our team stays available for any support during your arrival and hotel check-in.

Day 2 – Gangtok to Lachen

After breakfast, the drive to Lachen begins. The journey is scenic, with views of Seven Sisters Waterfall, Singhik Viewpoint, and river valleys. Ayan Tour and Travels Siliguri schedules short stops so you don’t feel hurried during the long uphill route. 

On reaching Lachen, you check in, freshen up, and spend the evening quietly at the hotel. The mountain setting around Lachen is peaceful, and most travellers enjoy resting early due to the next day’s early start.

Day 3 – Gurudongmar Lake & Transfer to Lachung

This day starts before sunrise. The road towards Gurudongmar Lake gradually rises into the higher barren region of North Sikkim. Ayan Tour and Travels Siliguri ensures your permits and vehicle arrangements are complete beforehand, as the lake sits at a very high altitude. 

After visiting the lake, you return to Lachen for lunch and proceed to Lachung. The drive between the two regions is full of mountain stretches, waterfalls, and forest patches. Once in Lachung, you check in and prepare for the Yumthang Valley visit next morning.

Day 4 – Yumthang Valley & Zero Point (Optional)

After breakfast, head towards Yumthang Valley, known for its wide valley views, hot springs, and bright rhododendron zones during flowering seasons. Ayan Tour and Travels Siliguri arranges this day in a way that travellers get proper time to enjoy the valley. 

From here, you may choose to visit Zero Point (subject to road permissions and extra charges). Many travellers who want snow prefer adding this optional extension. After returning to Lachung and having lunch, you continue your journey back to Gangtok for the night.

Day 5 – Departure from Gangtok

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and head back to NJP or Bagdogra. Ayan Tour and Travels Siliguri helps with timings, luggage coordination, and vehicle support so the exit doesn’t feel rushed.
